Red carpet events are always fun to watch, and the Furry Vengeance Premiere in L.A. definitely had its share of stars to look out for. The April 18th screening drew out some of Hollywood’s most popular rising stars in addition to several veteran actors.

Brooke Shields and Brendan Fraser were both in attendance, in addition to co-stars Angela Kinsey and Skyler Samuels.

Brendan Fraser seemed excited to promote his first widely released motion picture in two years, following the 2008 film Inkheart. Fraser has a history of making beloved family films, such as the well-known franchise, The Mummy. He continues that legacy in Furry Vengeance, an eco-conscious movie the entire family can see together.

While he says he really enjoyed making the movie, Brendan Fraser had some work to do getting in shape for the role. Fraser had to gain a little bit of weight in his backside in order to handle all of the physical comedy in the film. Since he finished shooting, however, Fraser says his love of pizza has made it difficult to take off the weight he put on.

Another popular actor who was out promoting Furry Vengeance was the beautiful Brooke Shields. Shields first came up on the film community’s radar when she starred in the classic film The Blue Lagoon at age fifteen. Now forty-five years old, she has enjoyed a wonderful career since then and was glowing on the red carpet.

Her accomplishments in film and television have not been the only reasons America has been so captivated by Brooke Shields. She received a great deal of attention in 2006 when she published a book about post-partum depression entitled Down Came The Rain. She based the book on her experience after having her daughter, Rowan.

The experienced actors and actresses were not the only ones getting attention on the red carpet for Furry Vengeance. Sklyer Samuels was there promoting her first major film at only sixteen years old. She may not be familiar to the adults, but children are sure to recognize her from her roles on The Suite Life Of Zack And Cody and Wizards Of Waverly Place.

Another actress who made the jump from the small screen to the big screen in this movie was Angela Kinsey, best known as Angela Martin on the popular show The Office. Kinsey is no stranger to television, having made appearances on shows like Monk and King Of The Hill.. On top of all that, she stars in multiple “webisodes” that go along with The Office. The movie shows a totally different side of her than the one that we are used to seeing from her previous characters.

The Furry Vengeance premiere drew in a variety of actors, some old favorites and some who will certainly be favorites soon.. The movie also has an eco-friendly message that the entire family will be able to enjoy together. The kids can fun, they will also be able to learn about some serious issues in the process. Furry Vengeance opens in theatres everywhere on April 30, 2010. For footage of this even and others, like the Iron Man 2 Premiere, visit celebrityfootage.com.
