The latest model for the business range to be created by Samsung is a great printer. The Samsung CLP 500 has all the terrific features of the big printers, without the big price tag. Speed is a great selling point. It has been improved from previous models. The black and white printing speed is set at 21 pages a minute, while color will take 5 pages per minute. You will see what I mean - just make sure you do not try to tug at the page until it has finished.
Simplicity shines through in this printer both in its elegant and understated looks and the operating graphic interface that comes included. It is compatible for Macs and PCs, a nice extra for offices with various operating systems.
If less noise is important to you, you are going to love this printer. Especially on sleep mode, this printer is silent, comfortably below 48 decibels. However you will hear it when it is printing, as it hums and purrs like other color laser printers do. In fact, the previous Samsung 550s were a little quieter.
Operating the printer is very simple. The guts of the machine are easily accessible through convenient side panels that allow you to access what you need.
