Samsung SCX 4216D3 Printer Toner Cartridge - Quality And Versatility Rolled Into One
Being in college means I get to be bombarded with countless papers to be submitted immediately. I wanted to have a little convenience and more efficiency, so I bought myself an SCX-4016 printer by Samsung. Everything was well until I keep getting into some very unlucky situations. Often, I find my toner all used up and there wasn't anybody who had the specific cartridge I needed.
The good part about those situations is that I learned something very useful. There are many Samsung cartridges that work well with Samsung printers. Now every time I'm in that predicament, I already have a replacement in mind. It is the Samsung SCX 4216D3 toner.
This toner cartridge is carefully designed to cater to the need of quality prints. All the pages I've printed using the Samsung toner have came out really well. All of the characters on the paper are sharp and crisp. The high quality toner creates a smooth overall look. I love that it is consistent with its quality. There was hardly any difference on the first and last page I printed.
The toner is designed for laser printers and comes in monochrome. Its weight is about 2.3 pounds which compliments its 12.9 in x 6.6 in x 4.6 in dimensions. The cartridge is full of quality toner that can accommodate 3,000 pages. It is also works well with the SCX-4216F, SCX-4116, SCX-565P, SCX-755P, SF-750 and SF-560 printers.
Be aware that there are imitations of the Samsung printer cartridges circulating around, although this does not include generic toner. It would be very unlucky for you to loose good money for cheap toner. Avoid these fake toner cartridges. Samsung toner has a security label on it.
The security label is quite distinct in appearance. You should see it on the box of the cartridge. It will catch your eye because of its ability to change color. The label color change is from clear to cyan. If you look a little closer, you'll see embossed characters. These also change color ranging from gold, red and blue using different angles. What I do is to feel the texture to verify further.
Replacing printer cartridges is easy and it's practically impossible to do it wrong if you follow a few easy steps. I do that every month and it always works just the way it's supposed to. First, prepare the printer. This means you need to pop the lid of the front cabinet and remove the used cartridge.
Second, prepare the printer cartridge. Unwrap it and slowly roll the cartridge. This allows for maximum printing. Third, slide the cartridge and lock it in place. Finally, close the lid and you should be able to begin printing immediately.
One little thing you might want to keep in mind is to keep your old Samsung cartridges. You can recycle them instead of just throwing them out. They still have a little value even when empty. Another option is to have Samsung recycle them for you. All you have to do is mail them back to them. This is in support for their campaign for a greener planet.
