The HP LaserJet 2015 Printer Features Lots Of Capability
That the HP LaserJet 2015 printer features lots of capability should come as no surprise to anybody familiar with this line of monochrome laser printers offered by Hewlett-Packard. Don't let the boxy shape confuse, though; because this particular printer exhibits a great many serious performance capabilities, including nice print speed and excellent print quality. It's all complemented by 24/7 HP support and low cost per page ratios.
It's instantly clear, just from a cursory glance at the Hewlett-Packard, that the company has intended for this particular monochrome printer to be used in many a home office or small office environment in addition to small networked workgroups. It's compact enough to fit on any desk and it also doesn't way much, either. It'll be easy enough to move about the office.
The 2015 also features a goodly amount of print speed, especially when one considers that 26 pages of product per minute will be produced at a very nice, low price. This print speed is available when the printer is put into "workgroup mode, " meaning that it is operating as a part of a workgroup. If it's in standalone configuration, expect speed to be just slightly below that. Still, it's more versatile than many other printers for the price.
It's also the case that the 2015 can be hooked up fairly quickly to most any computer or a workgroup or network. It does this through standard wired technologies, including Ethernet and USB ports. This invariably pleases the hearts of most information technology specialists, all of whom dread having to spend more than 10 minutes hooking up one of these printers to a network. Happily, that won't be the case with the 2015.
Print quality is just as nice as print speed in the HP 2015. It features 1200 dots per inch resolution, meaning that most print product will emerge very crisp and clean and ready to go. This includes print jobs featuring graphics or pictures, both of which the 2015 will handle fairly nicely, though it's not intended for serious print shop-type duties.
Total task-to-print time comes in at a stingy 8.5 seconds. This means that from the time a user sends a print order to the printer until the time the first page emerges will only be 8.5 seconds in length. This puts it several seconds faster than most of its competitors in the same peer group. A 400 MHz processor will handle it all quite capably, which is probably the main reason why it can print out so quickly.
Included memory with the HP 2015 is a decent-enough 32 MB, which can be upgraded to 280 MB quite quickly. Combine all of that memory capability with the 400 MHz microprocessor and it's easy to see why the 2015 can take on just about any print job coming from even a large-size workgroup with no problem. When it's used in standalone mode, it won't even break a sweat no matter the size of the print job.
Looked at in its entirety, there seems to be a great deal to like about the HP LaserJet 2015 printer. It holds up to 250 sheets of paper and an included auto load tray and it comes to its user for an average price of $350. Be careful though, because some sites are asking double that. It combines excellent print speed and quality and it will do most everything a user asks, meaning the 2015 will justify its price quite easily. Keep plenty of HP toner on hand so you can always print. HP LaserJet 2015 toner can be found online. Just find a website that sells toner and you shouldn't have any trouble locating it.
