When it comes to losing weight there is a great need for people to help other people. We all heard that weight gain is like an infectious disease. If we let it get out of hand, we make all be bitten by the weight gain bug.

Sooner or later the whole world will be fat, and that is not a good thing. We need to make a start somewhere, and why is it that that start cannot be made by you?

We are all connected in some way, and we do not mean this in some spiritual way. We mean to say that everyone in the world knows everyone ones in some way. Let say that you have a friend, Jimmy, and jimmy has a friend that you do not know.

That friend will have a friend that Jimmy does not know and so it goes, until somehow, everyone in the world is connected to everyone else, and it has all started with you.

This is why it all starts with one person to make a difference to many other people. If you make a decision to lose weight today, you may get Jimmy going on a weight loss crazy too. And in no time, Jimmy's friend could be on that same crazy. This will go on, until eventually you have started a weight loss epidemic that is good for the whole world.

Now, as said before, there are many reason people want to look good. However, it is not a good reason for you to look good because you want to look like your favorite celebrity. We all look good no matter what we look like, the only reason you should be losing weight is because it is unhealthy to be any other way.

Being fat and overweight is not a joke. There are hundreds of people out there that lose their lives because of being obese. There are also hundreds more that lose family members to obesity every year. You do not want this to happen to you. Losing a family mater is not a great feeling, especially if it is to something that could have been stopped.

If you know of someone that is overweight, do you not think that it is your responsibility to do something about it? We all have a responsibility to the people we know and care for.
