According to ABC's This Week with George Stephanopoulos, it is a possibility that California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is open to the possibility of becoming an Energy Secretary in a President Barack Obama Administration.  Even though Governor Schwarzenegger is a Republican Nominee John McCain supporter, he would consider an offer by the President Obama administration.  This is great for Senator Obama.  Governor Schwarzenegger is dealing with Energy Issues in California and will bring relevant experience to a President Obama administration.

This would help Senator Obama's vision of a more united government and Governor Schwarzenegger has the star power and the governor experience to deal with energy matters as he has done so in California.  He has shifted the attention to the attributes of energy and making sure that California has sustainable energy.  It will also show that Senator Obama does not look at one's politics as a deciding factor in the administration but one's experience in handling issues relevant to their own positions.  Governor Schwarzenegger serving as the Secretary of Energy in an administration which needs change would bring the star power to the energy issues that presently face the country.

It is also important to have some revolutionary strategy in regards to Energy.  We all know that oil is an important part of our economy and that we need to drill within the United States.  Regardless of any steps we take at home, we will rely on oil from the Middle East and other countries for a very long time.  Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and the upcoming resource of Turkmenistan whose upcoming oil resource plans will be important in development. The Future Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan oil pipeline is one thing to consider for the United States.  That oil pipeline can either turn to China or towards Gwadar, Pakistan in route to the United States.  That energy development strategy will also help Afghanistan develop.  The key to America's success in Afghanistan will depend on economic development outside of opium.  Energy development within Afghanistan will help the next American Administration in the War on Terror while dealing with Energy Issues.  Governor Schwarzenegger should focus on these new routes of oil development within his first year.

Governor Schwarzenegger has the credibility from the Right and the respect from the Left.  He is one of the key men who would truly help unite this nation.  For Senator Obama, he needs to look at the left of the nation's map for solutions to Energy.  This would definitely be a non-partisan nominee.  Governor Schwarzenegger's openness to serve in a President Obama administration shows his commitment to public service beyond partisan lines.  This effort by Republicans like him must be admired.  Governor Schwarzenegger's next step to a public office will may be in a new Presidential Cabinet, and it could be under a different political party.

When did Schwarzenegger changed to now come up jostling for positio under Obama? Isnt he the same guy, who not only campaigned against Obama but also called him skinny? Although, I admired Arnold in the movies, he doesnt just get it and his partisanship and blind loyalty to Mccain even though it was all written on the wall that mac the good old pow is going to loose is a poor judgment on his side. There are many other qualified people that Obama can rely on. In my place, you dont reap where you didnt sow, bipartisan spirit imaterial... He should concentrate in finishing his term and retired back into making more movies. Thats where he belong and we love him for it.

In addition to ensuring that local communities have the resources they need to fight these fires, the Governor is also aiding in the recovery efforts. The damage that has been done by the fire incident in California is overwhelming. That is why California’s state budget seems to be in need of fast payday loans. The state budget of California is already running a several billion dollar deficit, and it is poised to hit over $11 billion by the year's end. If nothing is done, it may balloon to up to almost $30 billion by summer next year. A recent article in the San Francisco Gate reported that Governor Schwarzenegger has called legislators into a budget meeting to slash spending and increase taxes. The budget of California has been hard hit this year in the wake of the Southern California wildfires with the thousands of homes that were destroyed, along with the downturn in the national economy. California will be amongst the hardest hit, because a collapse of the housing bubble makes an enormous impact on a state that derives great revenue from property taxes due to the enormous cost of owning a home there. Combine these already potent forces with a contraction of both industrial output and a rapidly diminishing job market and you have a recipe for disaster in the most populous state in the union. Gov. Schwarzenegger admonishes lawmakers for not only failing to act in a timely fashion, but also tells them that they had best get something done about this quickly, otherwise the state of California will be looking at a 25 billion dollar plus deficit by summer 2009. Your finances can take a quick tumble if you don’t act quickly, and if you are stuck in a shortage due to an emergency expense, get yourself a bailout with payday loans.
