Bull Fighting: A Contest Of Strength And Courage
The world of contests is filled with many amazing ones. These contests are performed with brains, strength and courage. One of these amazing contests is Bull fighting. The contest of Bull fighting is amalgamated with excitement and thrills.
It is a contest in which men ceremonially fight with and usually kill bulls in an arena for public entertainment. This spectacular event is watched by thousands of people who gather to observe this amazing thrills. It involves a test of courage on the part of matador and of strength on the part of the Toro bravo, the fighting bull.
Although the contest is indigenous to Spain however it is also popular in other countries like Mexico, Central and South America, France and Portugal.
A red colored cloth is waved in front of the bull and it is thought that red color makes the bull more furious. This is what makes the bull to fight against the man.However ,it seems to be a myth because it is also said that bulls are color blind then how come they get furious when waved a red colored cloth.
The bull attacks the matador more ferociously and thus the contest of strength and courage begins.
In the Spanish Tradition the matador meets the bull on foot and the contest is climaxed with the death of the bull. Portuguese fight the bull on horseback. The killing of bull is banned in Portuguese tradition. This contest is arranged in these countries and attracts all bull fighting lovers to the stadium.
