It's a simple question... Are you playing safe or not playing in the name of playing safe? Are you scared of playing? What's that you are fearful of, or what is it that's stopping your from playing?

Ask this question to yourself and answer too... If you feel like sharing, please do so via the comments link below. We all are looking forward to hear your story...

You see, traditional wisdom advised (and still does) to go to college, get good grades, get a job with a big company and retire with as much money as possible. But there's a new (and there's always been) breed of worker - the budding entrepreneur. They are the ultimate risk-takers - they leave large, to live large. And, there are some who do want to leave but can not because of whatever reason - mostly fear of failure or success, perhaps, which is understandable but you as an individual and an aspiring entrepreneur need to do some self assessment and figure out what is it - are you playing safe i.e. planning and making efforts towards a successful exit from the rat race or are you just rationalizing your fears and excuses and have accepted (may be in your sub-conscious) that you're staying in the rat race... If you really want to make a successful exit from the modern day slavery, you need to talk about those excuses with which you rationalize your fears... You want to talk about the education and information that you need to overcome those fears and deal with the excuses you have been giving to yourself... You need to find more people like you, bring them all together and help each other...

I would like you to think about a few more questions that you need to ask yourself...

  • How many 9-5'ers are there in the top 100,000 richest people in the world?
  • Can I do what I'm doing right now, for the rest of my life?
  • How much money can I make, working 9-5 for myself and not an employer?

You may know it very well but let me repeat, being an entrepreneur is all about risk and innovation, not timing the market or saving enough money or doing one more "that" thing. However, not all of us understand that or at least we find reasons not to understand. Likewise, not all of us are Entrepreneurs deep inside, some of us do love living on the pay check, following instructions and trying to make ends meet with whatever the corporate throws at us. Either case, I recommend you to bring your own self to the table, stay honest to yourself and work hard & smart to achieve success whether in business or at job... And, if you happen to be a budding entrepreneur in a corporate jail, you don't want to miss - "Breaking the 9 to 5 Jail"
