In order to access recently opened programs, right-click the taskbar, and click Properties. This will open the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties dialog box. Click the Start Menu tab and click Customize button. This will bring Customize Start Menu window and check the box called List my most recently opened documents. Click OK and again click OK to exit Taskbar and Start Menu Properties window.
