Advancing one’s education is never supposed to be easy. Getting a college education is supposed to involve challenge. There’s no need for a four-year degree in basket weaving. The numbers are staggering. The Bureau of Labor Statistics, a division of the Department of Labor, states that there will be one million new nursing job openings. What makes this number frightening is the American Hospital Association reported 126,000 positions were left unfulfilled in 2005. If that isn’t enough, the DoL projects the total shortage to top 1 million by 2016.

Students seeking financial aid for college are required to complete the U.S. Department of Education’s FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), which can be accessed online in digital format.
