Education: The means to success

Education is very important to my wife and I.  We have seven children and would like very much to see each and every one of them succeed in life.  I can remember some twenty-five years ago when I was attending school in the mid-west.

I went to the smaller schools, but still wasn't quite able to grasp some of the things the teachers were teaching.  A lot of the times I was unable to get the help that I needed with certain subjects.  Of course the teachers would help you if you needed them too, but what good would that be if they continued to explain it the same way every time they tried teaching it to you?

I believe success in learning is actually learning and knowing how each thing you learn works.  This simply can't happen if you don't understand what the teacher is trying to teach.  So I got to thinking about this problem and underwent some serious brainstorming ideas.  What if there were ways to outreach your learning skills?  What if somewhere in the country or quite possibly somewhere in the world someone could help you understand a certain subject or a certain math problem?  Wouldn't that be a great gift to give your child?  And I don't mean something that cost money either.  I'm talking about a corner of the web where a student can go and get help with any subject they are struggling with.

If there were a website where students, teachers, and professionals all over the world could meet and converse to help other students then that would be wonderful.  A website where you could go to the subject in the navigation bar and get help from real people through a chat line.  If you have trouble with Algebra, you would go to the Algebra chat area and ask the people in there to explain the problem to where you will understand it.  There are very many different ways to teach, the only problem is when you are in school, there is only one teacher there to help with only one way to teach it to you.

Eliminate that problem now with the only place on the web to interact academically with other students from around the globe.  Someone out there knows what you need to know and knows how to teach it to you where you will understand.  Through an area workshop to the left on the site you will find what you need to know.  You will have the option to go to any of the following: College Area workshop, High School Area Workshop, or Professional Area Workshop.
