Goshen's cucumber salad is a wonderful addition to a meal. This is epically good with a spicy main course. Goshen's cucumber salad contains dill. This creamy salad also goes well with German food. Goshen's cucumber salad is an extremely easy salad to prepare. The juices in the salad will continue to form after you add the salt so only dress the salad when you are ready to eat.

Serves 4

Ingredients:

· 2 cucumbers

· 2 tablespoons(about 29 grams) of chopped chives

· 2/3 cup(about 151 grams) of sour cream

· 3 tablespoons(about 43 grams) of chopped fresh dill

· Freshly ground garlic salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Step 1: the first step in Goshen's cucumber salad is to slice the cucumbers as thinly as possible. You can use a food processor or slicer if desired. Place the slices in layers in a strainer and set over a plate to catch the juices.

(Option if you don't have a large enough strainer us a cookie rack if it is small enough for the cucumber slices.)Allow the cucumber to drain for up to 2 hours.

Step 2: The next step in Goshen's cucumber salad is to pat the cucumber dry with paper towels. Then mix the cucumber with the dill, chives, cream and garlic salt and pepper to taste. (The more pepper the better!)

The juices in the salad will continue to form after you add the salt so only dress the salad when you are ready to serve and consume the salad.
