Goshen’s Sesame Cucumber Sushi

Goshen’s sesame cucumber sushi is a wonderful vegetarian sushi. The preparation time for this recipe is about 30 minutes. Goshen’s sesame cucumber sushi is a healthy way to enjoy sushi. Makes 24 pieces of sushi

·         1 piece of cucumber about 4 inches long (about 10 cm)

·         4 tablespoons(about 57.2 grams) of sesame seeds

·         2 seaweed sheets

·         2 2/3 cups (400 grams) of prepared sushi rice

·         1 tablespoon(about 14.3 grams) of wasabi paste

Serve with:

·         Pickled ginger

·         Wasabi paste

·         Soy sauce

Directions:

Step 1: The first step in Goshen’s sesame cucumber sushi is to toast the sesame seeds in a small frying pan without any oil on medium heat. Stir until golden brown and put aside to cool. Then wash and dry the cucumber and peel and cut into ¼ inch pieces (1/2 cm). Cut the seaweed sheets crosswise in two halves.

Step 2: Get the sushi rolling mat and prepare the Maki style sushi by mixing all the prepared ingredients with the prepared rice and wasabi paste. Then cut the 4 sushi rolls into 6 large pieces and arrange them with cut edge facing up. Then you are ready to enjoy Goshen’s sesame cucumber sushi.
