Well hello everyone and welcome back to another flash game review. I was having some trouble trying to figure out what game to review for today until I stumbled across a very intriguing game called, Depict1. It's a very strange game with a really unique concept actually, but it's very fun. In a nutshell, everything this game tells you is a lie. What? Yeah I know it doesn't make sense, but go along with me. When you first start the game it tells you "Click nothing to begin"... So don't listen to it and click something and the game will start! Imagine that. Then the next page will say, "don't press X+C", do it anyways. All the instructions in this game is an attempt to deceive you, so if they tell you to go left, you go right. If they tell you to stay still, you better get moving. That's the whole trick of the game, figuring out what to do and what not to do.

Your goal in this game, in the short run is to get to the beam of light at the end of each stage. It may start off easy but it will get trickier. Here is a list of the correct keys you are supposed to press, and believe me I am not lying like the instructions in the game. WARNING SPOILER ALERT!!

-J - Jump
-k - shoot
-ASD keys to move
-The instructions will tell you to jump on the fire like creature to kill it... yeah don't do that, it will just kill you because of the fire on it's back!
-At one point the man in the instructions will start telling the truth, but it won't last for long so just be careful with that. He starts telling the truth when he wants you to click a button to make a bridge over some spikes, so you can do that without worry. He will immediately lie to you right after that and tell you to use a spring to jump higher, but it won't of course.

Those are the essentials. The man in the instructions will tell you that you click spacebar to jump and use the arrow keys to move, which as well discussed before is a lie.

Now, the art in this game isn't realistic or anything but it's not supposed to be, it's got a really unique and cool style to it if you ask me and I really love it. The art is very simple but at the same time it has a complexity to it. And the gameplay is very simple as well, it's not very hard to figure out but once it's all smooth and once you start playing you will want to beat the game. That's why I am giving the flash game, Depict1 a 7.5/10

Now go out and play it and see for yourself! Keep an eye out for my other reviews.
