Had I known about non-emergency medical transport earlier, I would have saved a lot of cash and a lot of worrying.  These are two common things that bother people when transporting someone with special medical and physical needs.  This is what I have been experiencing for several months before I learned about Sam's Ambulette Services, LLC (SAS NEMT).

It is no surprise that even people with special needs require to go from one place to another.  My mom had to visit the doctor and several clinics and labs on a weekly basis. For this I used to hire a rental service because I thought that was a better choice.  While someone drove us to where we had to go, I rode alongside my mom just to make sure.  Chances are this is what you did as well.

Well, to someone still not acquainted with NEMT this seems to be the logical way.  Every time we made a trip no matter how close the destination or how fast the trip was, I never stopped wishing that nothing goes wrong.  Apart from the Heimlich maneuver I have no medical training (and even that I learned only from the TV).   Like many others, the only alternative that came to mind back then was hiring an ambulance for the job.

When you require a transport that does not involve any emergency, this is one move that you should not even consider.  I learned the hard way!  Don't get me wrong, we got to the appointment on time but I paid for things that I actually did not need.  Come on, it's an emergency vehicle.  It's meant to transport people with emergency, not take your elderly mom to get a blood test.

Of course I was willing to shell out the extra cash just to keep my mind at ease.  Every person would have the same point of view when it comes to people that they love.  What's a little more (actually a lot more) just to ensure safety.  Every time I pondered on the cost, I convinced myself that the extra cost was worth it.  It was a toss up between safety and cash.  Would you compromise the safety of someone you love?  Of course NOT, not even if you have to apply for bankruptcy (which I almost did).

You hire an ambulance once, twice and you just can't keep up with the financial demands.  Ultimately, you need to face the same question you asked yourself before - is the ambulance service worth it?  My friend, the answer is a resounding NO.

If it is an emergency, don't think twice.  But if it is not, don't even consider it.  Do what I did - I searched for the best alternative.  I'm no genius but I found the perfect solution - Sam's Ambulette Service, LLC.  This NEMT service provides the level of expertise required to put my medical concerns at ease as well as the transportation needs that I have - it's a perfect combination.

A cabulance service is what people like us need.  It provides the balance between cost and security; it answered travel concerns and medical safety; and most importantly it combined my peace of mind and answered my mother's needs in just one solution.  I did not have to take my chances with rental service drivers without medical training nor should I have to put up with expensive ambulance services.

Why choose between safety and cost when you can have the best of both.  With a non-emergency medical transport (NEMT), I don't have to compromise.  Neither should you!
