Now a days, numerous social networking sites have sprung up on the world wide web. The Facebook and Twitter are amongst some of the best known, popular  and widely used networking sites. Millions of people are busy on the web interacting with each other at any given point of time.

It's an almost hypnotic virtual world out there on the web. Once a person gets addicted to the use of the web, it becomes almost difficult to resist the temptation of sitting in front of the computer or the laptop for hours together.

The hyper use of this virtual medium has its side effects, too. Well known Shivyoga  instructors and experts like Shivananda and others have found through experiments on the disciples that all the Chakras or the energy centres in the human body come to a grinding halt if one continues using personal computer for two hours, due to the harmful radiation emitted from it.

That is the petals or the energy nodes on each energy centre get closed, thereby almost cutting off the supply of the requisite amount of the  life giving Pranshakti or the fresh energy to each and every cell of the human body.

The result is the extreme physical and mental tiredness affecting badly the health and fitness of the individual. This may cause several physical and psychosomatic diseases, also. The person starts getting aged much earlier and looks older than one's real age.

The individual efficiency goes down with the passage of time. This is more pronounced in the case of those working full time in the field of Information Technology where bad side effects are said to be easily noticed just after a period of five years down the line.

The use of computers has almost become unavoidable in today's high tech fast life. The Experts have suggested numerous remedies to overcome the ill effects of the use of computers and laptops.

For one, one must not sit working in front of the PC or laptop for more than an hour at a stretch. Every 60 minutes do take some time out to move away from these gadgets for 5-10 minutes.

Secondly, do practice daily for 30 minutes each in morning and evening the inhaling, exhaling and retaining breathing exercises which can easily be learnt from some expert Yoga instructor, competent guru or spiritual master possessing the Kundalini-awakening powers and techniques.

Thirdly, one can formulate a schedule whereby one can spare some dedicated time of the day or week to browsing emails or web sites, say like one may decide to go through these only for an hour daily or on weekends instead of going through them now and then every second.
