Any time a toddler is happy and entertained without having to be held by Mommy or having her constant attention seems like a rare thing. The only time it really seems like you can get anything done is when the baby is asleep, either taking a nap or down for the night. But having something that'll entertain the toddler so you can get something accomplished during the day is a very good thing, although using the TV as a babysitter just doesn't sit well with most people.

That's where finding entertaining and enjoyable activities for them to do is key to a happy baby and a happy Mommy. Push toys for toddlers can really save the day when it comes to giving you time to get some things accomplished.

There are some pretty cool push toys out there too. Kids love the pop toys that either kick big marbles around or that pushes posts up and down. They like push toys that look like other things that Mommy and Daddy use like vacuum cleaners and lawn mowers. Other push type toys are the ride-able ones kids sit on and ride around by pushing it with their feet. These are like the toys you'd get for toddlers just before they're ready for tricycles and pedal cars.

These toys are great because the kids will move around from room to room, usually following Mommy around as she does things like laundry, cooking and cleaning and other household chores. But, because the kid is able to move around and be entertained, Mommy doesn't have to carry them around or take them from room to room. Not only does the child get a little independence by being able to move around on their own, but they also get the exercise they need to make their legs stronger.

The benefits of kids being independent and getting exercise plus the added benefits of Mommy's hands and attention being somewhat freed up means a push toy makes for a win-win situation. Being able to get some things done while having your chiuld entertained and doing some things for themselves is a huge step for both parents and children. Check out the push tows for toddlers that are available and see which ones will work best in your situation. You'll really appreciate having one around.
