Pay per Post (PPP) advertising is a method where the advertiser pays to have their company, product, website or blog reviewed by an outside blogger. The blogger reviewing the advertisers company, product, website or blog would be paid a predetermined fee to write the review and link directly to the advertiser's website. Today's pay range is anywhere from $5 to $1,000 per review. The paid review sites also charge a service fee, typically a percentage or dollar amount per post.

This method of Pay per Post can be a great way to get more exposure and increase your page rank in the search engines. However, one has to be careful because it is often encouraged by these services for these bloggers to write their true opinions when writing their review of the product or service. Sometimes this could be great but other times this could be detrimental to your business if the review is negative and does not reflect your business in a positive manner.

There are several new websites that offer this service for advertisers and bloggers to interface. Some of the popular websites include: reviewme.com, blogsvertise.com, payperpost.com and sponsoredreviews.com. These sites specialize in connecting advertisers with bloggers who are paid to write reviews and link to your site.

I truly believe that this new method of mixing editorials with advertising is a great way to receive feedback, buzz, traffic, incoming links -and most important, the opinion of an influential audience.
