While emphasizing on the need of an ezine the first question my client asks is what should he/she puts in it. Over the years my content of an ezine has changed and what I concluded from my experience that there are four different units, a producer should include in his/her ezine.

1. "Introducing Yourself" section. People have to be acquainted to you. They should know you and fully trust you before they make up their minds to buy anything from you. What I usually do is that I use the first section of my ezine to write about myself, what are the ups and downs going in my life and my business as well. Almost every other ezine I am subscribed to has a similar column, and I enjoy reading that. This section brings me most of the feedback. This strategy usually helps in spreading your voice and opinion through ezine marketing.

2.Informative and Quality-Packed Article. During my early years of publication, I only used to share resources showing my expertise in early editions. Resources are helpful when u share your expertise. I think the best way to do that is to teach by writing an informative article about the problem faced by your market. That is the reason why I write "how to" articles .This "how to" format helps my readers implement their business strategy and it also helps people who are looking for quality information. In fact, it is useful for most people.

3. Marketing Promotion. The goal of publishing an email newsletter is to make sales whether it's the sale of your goods or your services. Mostly my income is generated by product sales so I feature one of my information products each week. I tend to display a product which I m acquainted to. The key here is that any affiliate products you feature should directly relate to and be used by your subscriber base. If you don't have a product to feature, add an article about the services you are providing.

4. Information Junkyard /Resource Section (optional). I am an information freak; I love collecting information on various online resources. As I am aware of the fact, that most of my readers share the same problems I am facing in my business .I share a resource per week which I find useful and which further enables my readers to manage their life or business efficiently.

I also include article promotions that are recently added to my blogs and on my ezines. I also write an overview of my membership site. My ezine also includes an upcoming event section to inform my readers when I will be hosting a tele-class.

Your ezine can be of any length, however, make sure it takes no more than 5 minutes to read .If you implement these 3 market strategies you will notice that your services are acknowledged while the sales of your products rise in no time.
