If you have been involved in the blogging field and have done some research on getting some quick traffic to your site, you must have heard about SEO techniques that most expert webmasters follow in order to grab the top slots of Google.

There are many ways for getting quick traffic to your site from the search engines. SEO on the other hand is a bunch of techniques followed by many webmasters and is a very wide topic.

If you have ever read a book about the various SEO techniques you may get afraid and think that SEO is no easy job. But, there are a few very easy to follow SEO techniques that can help you attract some easy traffic to your site.

SEO can be divided into two categories: on-page SEO and off-page SEO. It is usually the off-page SEO which is very difficult. Webmasters who follow off-page SEO leave the on-page optimization part. The good news is that on-page SEO is quite easy and can help you get some quick traffic from the search engines. In the next few paragraphs I will explain on-page optimization in much detail and tell you how you can grab some quick traffic using it.

The first on-page SEO trick which any newbie webmaster can try immediately is the keyword density formula. Yes, take a main keyword and a keyword phrase which contains your main keyword. Try and repeat these keywords and keyword phrases throughout your article. The more you stuff keywords into your article, the greater will be the traffic arriving to your site (this is a basic thumb rule which is found to work with many webmasters).

The next step is to highlight some words on your page. Though, there is another SEO technique which will help you a bit more than the highlighting technique. Use more keywords in the first paragraph of your post.

First paragraph being an introduction part is ignored by many visitors. So you can take the liberty to dedicate it to the search engine. Another paragraph which readers ignore and search engines don't is the last paragraph. Stuffing more keywords at these two places gives very good results and is worth giving a try as it brings very good and favorable results.

Do not try all the SEO techniques told by experts all at once. Apply a technique to a few posts and see the reaction of the search engines. Though, it would require you at least three to four weeks to get some attention from the search engines towards your site.

Also, go to google webmater tools and submit the sitemap of your site to google. There are many free softwares which can get this work done for you. Google webmaster tools will tell you about the various search terms that the search engine is using while sending traffic to your site. You will also get to know the category that search engine indexed your site in.

In order to get the attention of Google you need to grab the attention of a few sites and the best way to do that is to write an article and submit it to the article directories. This will make Google recognize your site and give some importance to its significance.

All the above said SEO techniques will boost the SEO status of your site. But, do not expect to get a huge traffic till you write and publish a few hundred search engine optimized posts on your blog. Content creation and frequent updating of the site content is also one of the best SEO techniques which is usually neglected by many webmasters.

The more you write the more will be the love for your site from Google. Do remember that the above SEO techniques will not put your site on the top slot of Google. To grab the top slot requires a lot of hard SEO home-work to be done. It is best to start your SEO campaign with the above simple and best SEO techniques. On-page optimization will help you increase your site traffic till you learn the off-page optimization techniques. Dedicated to your SEO success.
