A new movement is rising that is sweeping the tea parties across the United States and is convincing political leaders to bring people across the political aisle to support it. It is the prospects of a War against Iran. Iran is supposedly creating nuclear power and the threat of sanctions being imposed is becoming popular across different countries.

We thought that we have seen two to three battlefields in present day. Yet the idea of a War is starting to become popular again. Economic sanctions are being threatened and Yet, what does our conscience tell us?

It is easy to declare war when it is not in your own backyard. It is easy to call for economic sanctions against other countries when you do not suffer from economic sanctions. It is easy to tell others that the spread of nuclear technology is wrong when your own country has the technology. We can not preach to others what we can not follow ourselves.

There is a greater purpose, a greater cause  and a greater reality. Some radio stations are starting to advocate to overthrow the Iran regime, but they know little of Iran history outside of the days of the Shah. If they carefully studied the Shah of Iran, they would know that it was the economic conditions in the rural areas of Iran that contributed to the removal of the Shah and the Islamic Revolution.

History teaches us lessons of war at present stage. It will only make the myth that the United States is at War against Islam, in to reality, because when you are at war with three major nations, all three Islamic Countries, the argument that this is not a war against Islam is tougher to make. You can make a case of going to war against Iran, but in reality, most Islamic Countries are not ideally democratic. Iran has more democratic freedom and reform than some of the other nations in the Persian Gulf.

Yet, Iran is not ideal and President Ahmedinajad has made some radical, far out, statements. He must be condemned for making those statements, but we should not go to war over them. The reality is that Iran may seem like an easy playground where we have the country surrounded by troops in neighboring countries and the Persian Gulf. Yet, Iran is a bigger nation geographically, and a battle that is not as easy as Afghanistan and Iraq.

The economic sanctions will only hurt United States policies, because you can not force people to negotiate. You must use the tools within your own country. Certainly a War with Iran is not in the interest of Israel. Because it will make the case of Islamic Countries recognizing Israel even more difficult.

The United States must use the Shia American Clerics in the United States, and Shia clerics and intellectuals in Pakistan and India to persuade Iran to adopt a peace approach to Israel. What is in America's interest and in Israel's interests are good relations with Iran. However, the method to get there does not include a war.
