Terrorism : A social Evil

Terrorism can be defined as any act leading to or causing fear or terror in the society. The adverse effects of terrorism portray it as a  social evil because it is killing the society internally. In short ; it's a parasite that is sucking the blood of the society. Terrorism is not a modern day activity. Hundreds of years ago, when societies were not as organized as they are today with modern facilities of roads, telephone, regular police force, and so on. The Heads of strong groups or tribes of people, robbers and warriors made use of force and threats to life and property to the weak people of the clan.

Due to terrorism activities, the social activities have become very much affected. There are very few social activities in the areas which are affected by terrorism. The organization of social activities depict about the liveliness of a society. With little or no social activities, the society has entered into a stagnant phase.

Terrorism spreads death and destruction all over the world.  It destroys not only individual life but the whole country day by day and brings anarchy in the whole world. The people living in these areas are getting psychologically affected and fear to organize any social activity. This lack of social activities is reversing back the societies to retrogressive approach. Negativity of thoughts emerged as an outcome of this terrorism.

Now, terrorism itself is quite an organized activity. There are terrorist organizations that train terrorists for their purposes. Sometimes foreign governments support these organizations. A recent addition to such terrorist activities is suicide bombing which is unstoppable because the suicide-bombers are brain washed to the extent that they agree to bomb themselves in a hugely crowded area, thus committing lives of many innocent people.

Terrorism needs to be checked and combat at every level very carefully. Government should force all illegal residents of their countries to leave. They should ban all such activities that are contributing to terror. Arrangements should be made to stop the illegal flow of money into the other countries from one country. The tactics against terrorism can only be a success when these are backed by the citizens of the country. Citizens should be made well aware of these activities through press and media technologies.

These terrorists are enemies of humanity and relate to none of the religion as no religion preaches to kill human beings. In a nut shell, all such activities contributing to terrorism should be condemned irrespective of location and race.
