John McCain's recent campaign ads on MTV comparing Democratic Presidential Candidate Barack Obama to Paris Hilton and Brittany Spears may seem like a success. But could these ads backfire on Republican Candidate John McCain?

John McCain wants to be seen as the hip, cool, smart and intelligent Presidential Candidate in the 2008 U.S. Presidential Elections. He wants to be known as the voice of the young people. At a time when we need a Messiah John McCain is acting like a bully and trying to ruin it for us. He is trying to spoil our fun, and while at it, trying to make fun of the young people. Paris Hilton, Brittany Spears and Barack Obama have one thing in common, they have the youth appeal. Two of the three may not be role models, but one is a role model for the youth. John McCain should be proud of Senator Barack Obama's appeal to the young people.

But John McCain seems to be jealous. Simply said, John McCain is jealous of Barack Obama's success with the young people. So jealous, that his campaign paid for ads to compare Obama with Paris Hilton and Brittany Spears on MTV. MTV loves Paris Hilton and Brittany Spears. Part of MTV's market is made up of Paris Hilton and Brittany Spears fans. If John McCain compares Barack Obama to them on MTV, then it means that they are important in the election and that they should choose Barack Obama. Calling Barack Obama a Messiah gives Barack Obama even more credit and makes John McCain even less of a messiah.

President Bush has taught us that we do not need another bully to run our nation. We need a man we can call a big brother, an uncle, a father, a son or even our best buddy, or our mentor, that figure is Barack Obama.

Instead of being proud of another fellow Senator, John McCain is Jealous. Jealous of what? Jealous of The One. When you have popularity in the pop culture with the young people and you are The One calling for change and have the power to influence the pop culture, someone just may be jealous of you, and who better than your own rival, John McCain. It seems like John McCain is using his older, senior status power to pick on the young skinny freshman with a "funny" name.

Hopefully, most Americans will tell John McCain to stop picking on Barack Obama by election day. For many young Americans, they will see John McCain's ad as a tasteless attempt to judge the youth's intelligence when it comes to the U.S. Presidential Elections. While Paris Hilton and Brittany Spears may be pop icons, they are not Presidential Candidates and they have not won the nomination of a major political party. That is the big difference between Barack Obama vs. Paris Hilton and Brittany Spears. You have to admire the fact that Barack Obama can reach to the Paris Hilton and Brittany Spears audience, because politics is an important topic for all of us and if we can reach out to the demographics who are not interested in politics, we have achieved a lot in politics.

Barack Obama may not be the messiah in the Spiritual sense, but he is the Messiah of the State of U.S. Politics. He will bring back the International respect that we have lost in recent years abroad. His recent trip overseas shows how much he cares for a positive image of America abroad and why it is important to the American people. John McCain should be doing the same things that Barack Obama is doing, reaching out to the world and trying to build allies. But John McCain seems to follow on the footsteps of George Bush and feels that everything is fine and the Bush Plan is the perfect example to follow.

The youth will see these Paris Hilton/Brittany Spears ads as ads intended for the Turner Classic Movies audience rather than the MTV audience. What these ads tell us is the fact that Barack Obama is more in touch with the younger people and he better understands the pop culture. After Eight Years of President George W. Bush, we need a Messiah President. No candidate is perfect. But one thing John McCain has shown us is that he is No Messiah nor does he want to be. Is that the type of President we want? You have the opportunity to decide.
