It's amazing that already there has been a Wikipedia page completely built about Joe Wurzelbacher a.k.a. Joe the plumber. It's also amazing that on this page there's references to the surname Wurzelbacher belonging to only about 180 American citizens during the last census. So they conclude that he must be related to the Wurzelbacher who is related by marriage to Charles Keating.
So let me see if I get this right, Joe Wurzelbacher has some family somewhere in the United States that married into the Keating family and this relates to him asking the question of Barack Obama how? To the left-wing intellectual a.k.a. tinfoil hat wearing moon bat, this is all the evidence they need to point to a vast right wing conspiracy.
I would think they would have more validity or somehow be able to make it all more believable if somehow Joe Wurzelbacher worked for or was some other way involved with Diebold. Since they believe they're going to steal the election like they did in 2000 and 2004. I'm sure you may find a connection or an accusation like that might pop up on your local left-wing blog before long.
Of course using their same hypothesis of people's names, we on the right could legitimately say that Hussein (being that is Obama's middle name) means that he is related or at least could be to Saddam Hussein, King Hussein, or any other Hussein in the world either friend or foe. But if we are to make that kind of characterization we are called racists, bigots, small minded, and worse.
I was really struck by the top line of code in the Wikipedia site for Joe Wurzelbacher. PLEASE DO NOT VANDALIZE THIS PAGE, IT IS BEING WATCHED BY MANY, MANY, EDITORS. YOU WILL BE CAUGHT.
Who are these editors? They don't list any of their names, only that there's many, many of them watching. Are they not even the least bit concerned about vandalizing a man's private life? I guess not, they proudly boast where he works, how much the company makes, that he doesn't possess a plumber's license, and that he is not a loyal union thug.
They revel in those proclamations, but at the same time they are flummoxed because they can't figure out why he is having such an impact on the polls. Here's a simple man who walked outside to throw a football with his son when the Messiah decided to come down the street and shake hands for the camera. This simple man who owes back taxes, who doesn't own the company but wishes to someday, who's not a licensed plumber and doesn't belong to the union, this man had the audacity to walk up to the Messiah and ask him the question.
Now they're absolutely in shock, they are searching for ways to explain it to themselves. The intellectual left a.k.a. tinfoil hat wearing moon bats can't fathom that a plain and simple man could somehow get the Messiah to make a fool of himself on national television. In their minds it has to be a conspiracy. I can only assume by them dragging up information that Joe may be related by marriage to Charles Keating, that they somehow believe that Joe was in fact a covert agent working for the McCain campaign.
Karl Rove had to be secretly behind it. The diabolical mastermind that he is, he projected into the future and knew that Barack Obama would be the Democratic nominee, he knew it would be a tight race, he somehow saw the future and knew that they had to put Joe in place in that particular house, in that particular neighborhood to spring the October surprise. It had to be, no simple plumber or skilled tradesmen could trip up the great Messiah, the king of the intellectual left. He just could not be done in by one simple man asking one simple question.
The intellectual left a.k.a. tinfoil hat wearing moon bats, are wringing their hands reading the polls today. They can't believe that their massive propaganda effort is starting to fall on deaf ears. They can't believe that no matter how many times they register people to vote by giving them cigarettes and money and God knows what else, that Barack Obama isn't 20 points up in all the national polls.
It was a brilliant stroke to lie and get John McCain to accept public funding. They knew that old buffoon would do that and they played him like a fiddle. They knew that they could raise more money from people like "that one" or "nobody's business" on the Internet and could truthfully say "we don't know who our donors are."
They've been counting on large donations from foreign countries the entire election. I'm sure they have a scapegoat lined up and after the election when the truth actually comes out that half of his money if not more is suspect, be it from foreign sources or from out and out theft, they already have somebody that they can throw under the bus and shield Barack Obama from any wrongdoing.
The massive amounts of foreign money that he has received will be staggering when it all comes to light. Unfortunately it will have all been spent by the time the accounting actually takes place. But it has to be quite unsettling to the intellectual left it with all the money that he's raised, the massive crowds that he draws, to be in a statistical tie in the Zogby tracking poll has to actually chaffing their backsides.
This explains why they're seething and displaying their absolute hatred for Joe Wurzelbacher. This explains why they are absolutely pulling out all the stops to destroy his reputation, his character, his employment, and anything else they can come up with. By labeling Barack Obama as a socialist, Joe Wurzelbacher has changed the face of American politics this election cycle.
They don't like it, but there's really not much they can do about it. They've had a week to absolutely try to destroy this man. Just like they tried to destroy Sarah Palin, that didn't work and neither did this. This actually has them in an absolute rage, you can see it in their writing and you can see the frustration on their faces when they appear on TV.
They just cannot believe it, this election was in the bag. It was bought lock stock and barrel during the primaries and they just cannot believe that they are in a statistical dead heat going into the third week of October. They practically hand-picked John McCain by switch voting during the primaries in states that allowed it. When McCain became the nominee they absolutely knew it was in the bag.
They couldn't lose if they ran Barney Frank on the top of their ticket. It was a slamdunk and Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid were going to be the prime beneficiary of coattail victories the likes of which never been seen in this country. What must they be thinking now? I really wonder if they're starting to get worried yet.
We've yet to see whether or not there will be a Bradley effect and how much. That there will be a Bradley effect will be a foregone conclusion. How much, that remains to be seen and with the race in a statistical dead heat, any Bradley effect benefits John McCain greatly. Because if you're to believe the polls of likely voters, with it being within the margin of error, then even the very slightest of shift due to the Bradley effect will give John McCain the presidency.
He doesn't have to develop a commanding 10 point lead in the last two weeks. He just has to keep it within the statistical margin of error or actually probably within four or five points. If McCain does that, we will be saying President McCain on 01/20/09. This is not conjecture as much as it is looking at statistical data. Even John Kerry had a nine point lead going into the last two weeks and lost. He didn't suffer from the Bradley effect, Barack Hussein Obama most certainly will.
Obama's lead with likely women voters is shrinking. This really has to worry the intellectual left. That Barack Obama would not be as appealing with two weeks left to go to women in America compared to John McCain really must be chaffing their backsides really bad. But in addition to the Bradley effect I believe the Obama campaign is suffering from two other effects. The Palin effect and the Wurzelbacher effect, those two combined with the Bradley effect will almost absolutely guarantee a John McCain presidency.
The left wing intellectuals have to be scurrying around the universities that they inhabit, just absolutely losing their minds. They've done everything they know how to do, to guarantee an election. The one thing that they didn't count on however was that the American people as a whole does not feel comfortable with the word socialism. They do not feel comfortable with the words "spread the wealth around." They do not feel comfortable with a running mate who thinks that the word jobs is three letter word.
When it all shakes out, being that they're not common or normal everyday people, the intellectual left are left at the end of the day wondering where they failed. The answer to that is simply that while they have spent their academic lifetimes loathing America and despising what it stands for, 90% of Americans have spent their lifetimes enjoying America and knowing exactly what it stands for.
This has and will always be the main defining point between the intellectual left and mainstream America. They don't understand us, and we reject them, and that's really the way it should be. There is no amount of higher education that will ever replace common sense and moral values. Hypothesizing about something is not the same getting up every day and going to work as a plumber or a carpenter or a nurse or a computer professional or any other profession.
This is what academia and the left-wing intellectuals fail to realize, they hypothesize about life, we live it.
