I have observed this Obama phenomenon a lot lately. And it’s getting tiring. Ever since President Obama won the election in USA, a lot of misguided young politicians and persons have come out hoping to ride on this bandwagon and become presidents of their countries and organizations purely on account of their youth or newness.

There is no right and wrong here! You are not wrong for standing for what you believe in and hoping it will come to pass but sometimes we voters need to make a sacrifice in order to get what we want by the end of the day! Just a lot of rosy speeches and imaginary accomplishments without a vision whatsoever won’t take you far.

Dude, I know what revolutionary means. Heck, I am a revolutionary myself. What I do not accept is pretenders and opportunists hoping to jump onto the change bandwagon yet they are not tested. Even President Obama had to run for office in the Chicago Local government then US Senate before running for president. The only thing we agree on is that constitutional and policies overhauls are the priority of many voters.

Looking at political and philosophical trends over the past 5000 years and based on my analysis and with the support of history, philosophy and psychology, I know who a fine leader is and which leaders are just jokers trying to pull a fast one on us.

Apart from you’re credentials! What you should know first is voters don't support a candidate based on his/her likelihood of success but policies and character. Secondly, to prejudge another candidate that he's unlikely to be supported and therefore despise him/her is a self-fulfilling prophesy.

Finally, this thinking of going by the winds is why we have the same recycled faces in every election despite their very poor performance. You will need to stand out. The time is always right to do what is right and believe in yourself for the voters to believe in you, which is the key to creating a critical mass of follower.

The voters are asking themselves. What exactly is your vision? What are your views on Constitution? How about Human rights, Health care, Jobs…? How will Devolution process be? What have you done in the fight against corruption so far? How about his contribution towards the development of democracy, Economy…?

If your contribution is zilch! Yet you expect to be made president? You need to try harder since you have a ghost’s chance of making it. Presidency should be treated with the contempt it deserves otherwise it will be a case of same script different cast, or new zoo same monkeys. That is not the change we need.
