Iraq Minister: Voters subject to pressures

Iraqi Interior Minister Jawad Al Boulani reported interferences by some political parties to influence Iraqi elections. Some parties have transferred ballot boxes in suspicious circumstances, Al Boulani noted. Voters in special voting were subject to pressures, he added. What happened has distorted the electoral process, thus results could not possibly reflect Iraqis’ true will, Al Boulani argued. Evidence were brought to IHEC for appropriate measures, the Interior Minister continued.
