Moving can be  very stressful trying to sell a home, finding a realtor and a moving company, plus getting on with your new life. Did you know that there are staging companies that can help you take care of the way you showcase your home to get your goal accomplished? There are companies that specialize in this process, and some of them can be expensive.  But here are some benefits by having a company do it for you.

A NEW SET OF EYES: They look over your place as a prospective buyer would do. They envision what can be accomplished by decluttering the place, and making it buyer friendly. Perhaps you have seen some of this on television and they perform miracles by adding a chair here, and removing a bed there, etc.

WHAT CAN YOU DO IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE MONEY?

Declutter the home by removing old clothes, old towels, old chairs, afghans, photographs, knick knacks, and just plain garbage such as old makeup, food from pantry, old papers and much more.

Can you see the table in the dining room? If not,  cleared it off and put a fresh table cloth on top that fits, and compliments the room.

PAINT: Does your home need painting inside or out? Perhaps, changing the colors to lighten the rooms will let the home look airy, and roomy.

FURNITURE: Get rid of furniture that is old, torn, or doesn't fit in. I know of people that have a piano in a bedroom! That would give potential buyers or buyer mixed messages. "Don't Play It Again, Sam.....here!"

APPLIANCES: Do you have too many appliances or containers out on your kitchen counter? If you do remove them, and store them under the cupboards. While you are at it, run through your kitchen and remove the junk that you don't need. Throw away, store it away, or give it away! Make the counters free from clutter can make the kitchen buyer friendly. The kitchen is the nucleus of the home where more people hang out, and entertain then any other place in the home.

OPEN HOUSES: Go to other open houses in the area to get ideas for color, setup of rooms, linens, etc.

Ask your realtor to give you honest advice about what makes the deal happen for transforming your plain old house into a palace to sell.

BOOKS, MAGAZINES, INTERNET, AND YOUR PUBLIC LIBRARY: They all have ideas to help you transform your home on the market to a home that is sold! You have to do your research sometimes.

Fresh flowers, plants, and candles can create a warmth that makes the buyers want to buy if you do the equation correctly.

Storage could be a plus because you can move chairs, clothes, and things to make more room in the home.

FLOORING: Does the carpet need cleaned, or removed to get rid of embedded smells from your favorite pets? Vacuum can do wonders as well! New area rugs under the table can make the room look great as well.

BATHROOMS AND BEDROOMS: New towels, soaps, and rugs in the bathroom. Make sure the bathroom and the rest of the home for that matter is clean. Bedrooms new linens, clean closets, and new comforters. Perhaps, even put new flowers or candles in each of these rooms.

CURB APPEAL OUTSIDE: Mowing, trimming, and clearing the sidewalks. Make it where you can see the house, and not try to find the house because of all the obsticles that are around the home. New flowers, or new trees makes it inviting.

Displaying your home in the right light, gives the buyer a green light to hopefully purchase your home. Don't you want to see the green, sooner than later?
