In these times when the global economy is on a free fall, many people do not know what to do. There is so much confusion and this creates the perfect hunting ground for Satan. Not knowing what to do is such a vulnarable position and Satan releases his demons to go to work immediately.

The first demon to come, is a spirit called fear.Once it takes abode, then depression sets in. The spirit of depression is a dark cloud that covers every aspect of hope. When people become hopeless, then the spirit of suicide comes.

I have just read about a man in California who killed his entire family, and then committed suicide because of financial problems. He did not have to do this, had he known of God`s love and deliverance.Storms of life come, but they do not last a life time. They are temporal.

Depression is a spirit that comes at the invitation of a soul void of God`s word.It also enters even when one knows God`s word but fails to walk in forgiveness. This opens the door to the devil. The bible says, resist the devil and he will flee from you.You can resist  the devil with the word of God you know and believe in.It must be done in faith. You have authority as a child of God to loose and to bind demonic forces.

When the spirit of depression comes on your door, resist it with the word of God.Open your mouth and declare the word of God. For we have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you have received the Spirit of Adoption, whereby we cry Abba Father. Romans 8:15
