Bring to a boil over a high heat. After the mixture is brought to a boil turn it down to a low heat and simmer until the mixture is reduced by two-thirds. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;This should take around 15-20 minutes. The mixture should have a consistency of honey and should coat the back of your spoon. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Step 2: The next step in Goshen&amp;rsquo;s strawberries is to strain the syrup just made through a fine-mesh strainer and discard all the solids. Spoon the fresh strawberries into bowls and drizzle with the home made syrup over them.
