You'll see a shadow ofthe object appearing as you drag the object. Release&amp;nbsp; the mouse button to reposition the object.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;To move the desktop objectsautomatically:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Click with the right mouse button on a blank portion of thedesktop to display the desktop menu. Choose line up Icons to arrange theobjects&amp;nbsp; horizontally along an invisiblegrid.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Right click the blank desktop again and but this time clickarrange Icons. Choose "by Name" from the cascading menu. Now the objects arearranged in alphabetical order, starting at the upper-left corner.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;You can ensure thatyour desktop objects are kept in permanently arranged state by choosingAuto Arrange. Right click the desktop, then click Arrange Icons and choose AutoArrange from the cascading menu. Now whenever you move an object, it will beautomatically rearranged.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;To organize desktopwindows appearance &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Every open window on the desktop has similar options fororganizing the object within it and outside appearance. You can access theseoptions by opening the view menu or by clicking buttons on the toolbar ortitlebar.
