HP Printers and others have a lot of little basic bugs, butif you know how to deal with some of the more habitual problems you will makethe printer your friendly companion to your tasks and projects.

Errorcode 24 Problem: " Job Memory Full " error message

PossibleCauses and solutions:

The print job is too complex to beprocessed. Laser printers are page printers and require the entire page to beprocessed before beginning to print. Simplify the print job by removing fontchanges and/or graphics. Add more memory

Remember the original HP Laserjet has only 128K of memoryavailable, the LJ+ has only 512K and neither one is really upgradable.

Windows XP, click Start and then click Control Panel. Click Printers And Other Hardware and Printers And Faxes. In the Printers And Faxes window, from the File menu, click Server Properties, then click the Drivers tab. This shows the settings in your printer's driver. Compare the settings in this dialog box with the ideal settings in your printer's manual. If you see a discrepancy in these settings, the printer may simply need a new driver and delete old one. You can download printer drivers from the printer manufacturer's Web site.
