Iraq Football Super Leagues final game: Arbil V/S Al-Najaf

Today, Iraq Football Super Leagues final game will take place at Al-Shaab Stadium. Arbil and Al-Najaf teams will meet in Baghdad. Meanwhile, Baghdad teams did not reach final games because they were defeated by Districts teams. Arbil team qualification to the final game for the third year in a row crowns the teams efforts. It is to be noted that Arbil players are the best in the league. On the other hand, Al Najaf team reached the final game two times in the last four years which reflects the good performance the teams players are presenting. The final game is extremely tight, whether Arbil wins for the firs time or Al-Najaf takes the title for the third time. Arbil team had won Iraqi Football Super League for the last two seasons which is a record never done before by any of the other districts teams. As for Al-Najaf team, it won the second rank for seasons 1995-1996 and 2005-2006. Today, Al-Najaf aims to win this game to crown its success. Moreover, Arbil was qualified to finals after heading the first group collecting 64 points defeating its closest adversary Duhok by 3 points. During its 26 games, Arbil won 20 games, tied 4 times and lost twice and both failures were before Duhok. Arbil team scored 55 goals and received 17 goals in its net. To that, Arbils technical team includes Coach Thaer Ahmad, assisted by Omar Majid, Ahmad Khalaf and goalkeepers Coach Imad Hachem. For its part, Al-Najaf team has reached the final game after heading the second group .Al-Najaf played 24 games in the current season, won 15 times, tied 7 games and lost 2, collecting 52 points. Al Najaf team scored 39 goals and received 12 goals in its net. Al-Najafs technical team is composed by Coach Hatef Shamran assisted by Majed Najem and goalkeepers Coach Ghanem Ibrahim.
