Police say thousands of troops will remain on high alert in case of renewed clashes across the city.  Israeli Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld reported that around 3000 policemen are still on alert in Jerusalem while open access to Jerusalem's holiest shrine was granted to Muslim worshippers and tourists.  US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton reassured meanwhile Israel about US commitment towards the country.  "We have an absolute commitment to Israel's security. We have a close, unshakable bond between the United States and Israel and between the American and Israeli people, Clinton.
