Penalty of Love

The Almighty Lord created this wonderful world as a symbol of his mastery. Then He created animals, plants for his noble creation as ‘humans' who are paired up as male and female into many different relationships. Each relationship is unique from other and has its importance and impact. The most magnificent relationship that is beyond comparison with any other is between the child and his parents.

When a child is born, he is too helpless to do things on his own. He is blessed with her mother to feed and clothe him or her and a father to bear all the expense needed to meet the requirements. The bond between a child and his parents is so sacred that no one can ever dilute or de-value.

However, the main point of discussion is where do these parent go wrong that they end up living in isolation in old age home? They spend their entire life nurturing the kids and showering un-conditional love on them. They never whine or complain when their young one is cranky, even if he is restless in the middle of the night. Where as when the roles are reversed some years later, their children count these parents as an additional burden.

At times, they are counted out of the family affairs and turning a deaf ear to their piece of advises. They have lived a merry and jovial life, their prime focus being their kids. As they grow old and frail, the glow on their face diminishes and finally disappears after receiving a harsh treatment from their loved once. Nevertheless, this is not the end to the merciless treatment. With the passage of time, they are forced to live a life of isolation, ending up in old age home as their permanent residence until they depart from this world.

The heart bleeds to see them in a dejected state. Their utter desolation and misery is not well thought-out to soften and melt their children's heart. We must not forget that history repeats itself, as it will be of no use crying over the spilt milk. We must take blessings of our parent and look after them. They are true gift of God with no replacement.
