Who knew it had so much power?</description><link>http://www.trcb.com/</link><language>en-Us</language><ttl>60</ttl><lastBuildDate>Sat, 26 May 2012 04:57:03 EST</lastBuildDate><copyright>Copyright 2012 Maria Meiners, TRCB.com All Right Reserved</copyright><item><title>Pizza Cutters And Happiness - Yes They Are Related!</title><link>http://www.trcb.com/self-improvement/happiness/pizza-cutters-and-happiness---yes-they-are-related-12044.htm</link><description>&lt;p&gt;When I was growing up we didn't have many fast food places and eating out was a rare thing.&amp;nbsp; Our family ate at home almost all the time and prepared food was all but nonexistent.&amp;nbsp; When we had pizza, which we did regularly, it was homemade and very yummy!&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;And we always cut it with a knife.&amp;nbsp; There was no pizza cutter in our house and I hated that.&amp;nbsp; For some reason, in my mind pizza cutters were cool and the "in" way to cut pizza and because we didn't have one I guess I felt like we were "out."&amp;nbsp; Silly looking back but as a kid that's how I felt.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;So when I moved out on my own, of course I equipped my kitchen with a brand new pizza cutter!&amp;nbsp; I was so proud of that thing....even hung it on a hook on the wall so it was in plain view.&amp;nbsp; I used it to cut pizza, pastry shells, pasta, cookie dough, and anything else I&amp;nbsp;could think of.&amp;nbsp; You might say that I was giddy over that pizza cutter!&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;The point is that even small things can make us very happy.&amp;nbsp; In fact, sometimes it's the small things that give us more pleasure than the big things ever could.&amp;nbsp; And small things are easy to indulge in too.&amp;nbsp; I mean, that pizza cutter was only a couple bucks.&amp;nbsp; Very small price to pay for the years of pleasure it gave me.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;So today when I find myself wanting some small thing I remember the pizza cutter and allow myself to indulge in that little pleasure.&amp;nbsp; It lifts my mood, helps me appreciate life and makes me really happy.&amp;nbsp; And I encourage you to do the same.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Rejoice in life's small pleasures ~&amp;nbsp;you'll be happy you did!&lt;/p&gt;</description><pubDate>Tue, 30 Jun 2009 01:24:49 EST</pubDate><guid>http://www.trcb.com/self-improvement/happiness/pizza-cutters-and-happiness---yes-they-are-related-12044.htm</guid><source url="http://www.trcb.com/rss/article/pizza-cutters-and-happiness---yes-they-are-related-12044.xml">TRCB.com</source><category>Self Improvement / Happiness</category></item></channel></rss>
