I know, I hate to be vague, and well its that pesky International Currency thing. Right now it is About $50 with a saving of about $50.

Toronto, like Chicago, has always been a city I have visited, never lived. I have told you about my experiences with CityPass in other cities and we will look at those shortly. For now, let's focus on the Toronto CityPass.

Toronto CityPass is a deal. If you are planning to go to Toronto my favorite place is also the #1 attraction in Toronto CityPass. That would be the The CN Tower. Usually its $29.12 CAD per person. This lets you test your nerve on the Glass Floor at 1,122 ft/342. Bring your camera, and nerve. Or bring and extra $8.83 CAD and be in the world's highest man-made Observation level at 1,465 feet.

And you add:
The Toronto Zoo. At 710 Acres, its not a small zoo. The price your not paying is the rather modest $21. CAD. Serviced by 2 bus routes operated by the TTC. Winter weather may limit zoo hours.

The former dwelling of Sir Henry Pellatt is known as the Casa Loma. This Edwardian style mansion sits on 5 acres.

The Ontario Science Centre would also be a modest $18. CAD however they do charge extra for IMAX ($12 CAD or 2 shows for $18 CAD on Friday & Saturday nights. Accessible by TTC transit.

Canada's largest museum of world culture and natural history is found in the Royal Ontario Museum. Keep $22 CAD in your pocket and take the TTC to get there.

Once in your hands and used at your first Toronto Attraction, CityPass is valid for 9 days. No matter how you slice it, that covers you for 2 full weekends. All Toronto CityPass tickets are easy to get to by TTC.

Other CityPass cites also appear to be public transportation friendly. I can say for certain that forgoing driving in:

Seattle, San Francisco, Atlanta, New York, Philadelphia, Boston, Houston, Chicago and Hollywood are viable options.

My last tip on CityPass is to look at the few ads in the booklet. At the time of this review, Toronto had No Extra Value Coupons.

As an experienced traveler, I feel a little dumb not knowing about CityPass before. I hope you learn from my mistake and take advantage of this. If you're taking kids, be sure to check for that option in the link I've given you. Enjoy the savings of time and money.

A final thought is Toronto CityPass is a Great way to see your own backyard! As I said, no lines, and a great discount! Now where did I put that link so you can squeeze the bucks and still keep your promise to the kids?

TIP: Buy Your Toronto Sightseeing City Pass E-ticket today in a few clicks and you're done -- no shipping costs.
