And it is exaggerated when it is a heavy load vehicle, like a truck. Inspections of the tires of these heavy load vehicles are extremely important, and the inspections should be on a regular basis. It is important that truck tire are safe and the safety standards are up to date and accurate.

By conducting routine maintenance on the tires, it will greatly increase the efficiency of performance. It will also increase the life of the tires. To guarantee the safety of the driver and truck, these inspections must be done accurately and done daily. Make sure that nothing has slipped inspection for safety purposes.

The tire pressure for every tire must be correct and accurate according to the operator manual guide. This should be done regularly and with a high quality tire gauge. While the pressure of each tire is being checked, the visual condition of each tire should also be checked as well. The visual inspection should be done daily also.

The weight capacity of the tires should also be checked to make sure that they can sustain the amount of weight that is expected. Determining the proper weight that they can hold will prevent any damage on the tires later. The truck should have an operating manual with the correct weights of tires and should also have the correct pressure as well.

Heat and tires do not mix, so keeping extreme heat away from tires is highly recommended. The heat will cause damage to the tires and will cause them to fail. When fixing a tire rim or anything similar to that, using a welding torch should be done carefully and with caution. Make sure to store tires in a cool spot and out of direct sunlight.

Truck tires should be washed on a regular schedule because dirt can damage tires. Debris can get stuck in the rims of chrome wheels and cause them too function poorly. The same tread pattern should be on each tire as well, this will ensure the tires will work at their optimal performance, giving the driver a much safer and smoother ride.

When tires on any type of vehicle are mixed, it runs the chance of failure. Tires on any vehicle should be of the same weight, size, make, tread, and the same tire pressure to improve the safety of the truck on the road. When the tires are not the same and are mixed, gives the truck a greater chance of failure which is a safety hazard.

TRCB.com
