If you're thinking about returning to school to further your military education, you may want to consider earning an MBA degree.

A Master's of Business Administration degree can be applied to many fields of work. You are eligible to pursue one with financial aid from the Post-9/11 GI Bill that was recently put into effect by the U.S. government.

The government plan is allowing tuition, and in some cases housing allowances, for thousands of current and former members in the military who have served for more than 90 days after September 11, 2001. Also known as the Yellow Ribbon Initiative, this financial aid is being provided by the government, with matching incentives from participating organizations.

Applicants who qualify can receive several thousand dollars in financial aid to cover tuition costs. Colleges and universities across the nation are reaching out to military members and vets regarding pursuing a degree. Whether traditional campus education or online college, there is financial aid available.

Enrolling in an MBA program will be beneficial to veterans who are already highly skilled in leadership positions and are quick and efficient at performing tasks. Their high levels of success in a military setting will carry over to their educational advancement, as they are always willing to push themselves to the next level.

The GI bill was developed to finance the education of current and former members of the military and, in some cases, their immediate families. Business schools nationwide are providing affordable education programs tailored to the needs of individuals.

By enrolling in an online educational program, you can attend classes and still remain on active duty. If you've already been discharged, you still have this option or you can attend a campus-based classroom setting as well. Business schools around the country are accepting applications now.

Earning your MBA through an online degree program will still give you the same quality of education you would experience were you attending classes in person. Enroll in a Master's of Business Administration program and learn business strategies and everyday functions.

You can prepare yourself for a leadership role and make the most out of networking opportunities. You can use the skills you learn in an MBA program and apply them to a career in the business field.

TRCB.com
