This resort is located in the center of the Walt Disney World® Resort adjacent to Epcot® and Disney-Hollywood Studios.

It is a world to itself, with five outdoor pools, including a grotto pool with a water slide, waterfalls and white sand beach, along with nearby golf, tennis, sand volleyball courts, the new Mandara Spa, and health clubs. It also features Camp Dolphin, a supervised children's activity center.

This Disney property resort opened its doors in June 1990, offering 1509 deluxe room accommodations to Disney guests and central Florida vacationers. The hotel itself is a Sheraton Hotels resort that is operated and managed by Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide under the Westin Hotels brand.

If you are interested in night-time activities, walk across to the Boardwalk for additional dining, dancing and shopping. We suggest that you take the walkway to Epcot and the short boat ride to Disney's Hollywood Studios. The walkway to Epcot takes about five to 10 minutes, while the one-mile hike to Hollywood Studios takes about 20 minutes. The boat transportation to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios departs about every 20 minutes and is a pleasant scenic canal ride.

The large boats traveling between Epcot and Hollywood Studios stop at the Yacht & Beach Club, and the Swan and Dolphin resorts, picking up guests along the way. Disney bus transportation is available for guests going to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Downtown Disney and the water parks.
