There are so many relationships that tend to show that thewoman is always on top. In this case the man has limited decision makingpowers. It is not new phenomenon in the world as queens have ruled on dynastiessince immemorial. In many households this is a cause of big indifferenceproblems.

Since most women nowadays are learned and running things atwork, this does not mean running things with your man. So, it is better tocheck your attitude at the door when dealing with many men. Maybe a manreally needs to be the head of the household, and if you don't trust that hecan be, then leave him alone and move on. A wise man once told me thatanything with two heads is a monster, so only one person can be head of thehousehold, and for me, I prefer it to be a man. Women, know very well it is too much to carry toomuch of the financial and emotional burden of raising a family alone, And thatis why men supplement what lacks but they should use that power to drawstrength to a good upkeep a family and not allow that to make their family emotionallyweaker.

I remember woman in her 20s at a managementconsulting firm I worked for and this man told her that she would definitelymake a Partner but no one would ever like her because she was so damn mean, andshe actually was naïve enough to take that as a compliment; not realizing that her"meanness and hardness" had spilled over into her personal life and causing hernot to attract and keep good men in her life.

Naturally power of leadership does not come by as a gift butpower is taken just like grabbing. People in power are people who want to takecontrol of things influencing their life. If a woman sees that the man is timid, tentativeor unable to run things then power is taken away from him unwillingly by her wife.A man should show he has authority to give directions to his family and wife. Whichever way it works for you!
