You have to manage your time and stop wishing for a few more hours in a day. That's not going to happen! Being in control of your time will also reduce stress, improve productivity and gain more trust from other people. So to keep things in time you have to manage your time.

Here are tips on how to be in control of your time:

Making a schedule

Like the saying goes failing to plan is planning to fail. Most people feel trapped by their planner or schedules forgetting that it always better to be organized in order to keep in track. For example when arranging things in your car trunk, if you throw things around they will never fit. You will need to start again by putting the biggest bags first. Progressively, space is found for smaller bags. The same can be said in life.

If you start filling your time with smaller things, you risk not being able to fit in the important. So give the big things first priority and you will be surprised at how much time you will have left over to take care of little things. There are several things you can use to make schedules; this includes pocket planner, cell-phone calendar, small notepad, computer calendar and desk calendar.

Sticking to a schedule

Again like the saying goes Tomorrow never comes. Putting of your task until tomorrow will never happen. Sometimes you will end up rushing because you pushed back more important things. It is always easier and less stressful to do what you have to do, reach your goal and let your friend's text inviting you for a movie be of less importance.

Being neat and organized

You may not understand how being neat and organized have anything to do with time management but having everything neat and orderly will save you time when you are looking for your things. This will also give you the much needed peace of mind. Losing a wallet is not a joke, just put things back in their right place as soon as you can. Be regularly neat and see if it makes life easier.
