The medical term for bad breath is halitosis, Oris stench, or stomatodysodia ozostomia. This means that an unpleasant odor of the breath of a person. Halitosis is common among human beings worldwide and is usually caused by a buildup of bacteria in the mouth as a result of gum disease, food or plaque.
