Denny SmithWhen Jesus was discussing the new birth in John 3 he said, "unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God." (John 3:5 NKJV) A great many deny that the water of this passage is a reference to baptism. How have men perceived this historically?
