A connectable food and water dish need to be connected to the crate, and they must be refillable from the outside, without having to open the door. Traveling by car is the easiest way to travel with your pet. Car travel is much more comfortable for your pet, as they changes in air pressure and temperature aren't factors. Your pet has probably even ridden in your car before, making it a little less stressful for your pet. Be sure to stop every few hours so your dog can go to the bathroom, eat, and stretch. Make sure your dog has a comfortable place to rest with a familiar blanket or pillow.
