Set sail for 90 seconds on one of 16 of Aladdin's magic carpets as you soar high above MAGIC KINGDOM's Adventureland! Aladdin's ride is like the carnival style hub-and-spoke rides strictly geared to the younger generation. With instrumental music from the movie all around you and a genie bottle in the middle, watch for Abu the monkey doing cartwheels, and look over the side at your reflection in the water pool under the carpet.

Aladdin's carpet is a magic carpet that you ride in. You can control it in the front seat and back seat. It goes around in a circle, circling the waters of Aladdin. There is a big genie bottle way at the top of the ride if you get the chance to look. While on the ride listen carefully and you can hear the beautiful music of Aladdin. There is plenty of room to fit up to four people to each magic carpet, maybe even more if you have small ones.

Ride Experience:
I quite enjoyed this ride. The ride to me was very easy and relaxing. We let my kids play with the controls while my wife and I sat back and enjoyed the ride. I was very pleased with how you can control the Magic Carpet so easily. I also was very pleased with the scenery of the surrounding area. It's not bad to wait for it since there are a lot of shade and other activities going on while you are in line. Our kids were so excited when they got a chance to control their own Magic Carpet.

Look out for the spitting camels positioned just right so the unaware will get wet. Ah, but there is a solution against the spitting camels. Once you're aboard the magic carpet you have a front row lever control that makes the carpet ride high and low, while the back row lever controls how much forward and backward tilt you have. Try outwitting the camel by flying high over the water stream.

What Disney Says:
"Take a flight of fancy aboard your very own magic carpet. Inspired by the Disney animated classic, ‘Aladdin,' this whimsical spin above Adventureland is filled with ups and downs as you control both the pitch and height of the flight. It's better than getting three wishes!"

Notes, Tips and/or Facts:
Note to Parents: Jump in the front and setup your kids to get wet. This interactive attraction has a lever in both the front and back. When you're in the front seat, the lever controls the height that carpet flies. When you're in the back seat, the lever controls the carpet's pitching forward and back.

Author's Comments:
It's an overall fun experience for the younger ones in your family. I would have to say do not pass this ride up. Let your kids control your Magic Carpet, and if you don't have any kids... well then, sit back and control it yourself. I would most definitely ride this again when we come back next year.

The line is typically long so be prepared for a long wait as there are no FASTPASSES for this ride. However, the ride holds four passengers (Dumbo holds two passengers), which means the line usually moves rather quickly.
